Weather:
The dull gray sky and the sea, + 5C, drizzle, rain and the bone-chilling north wind of 10 m/s!

2018

The azure sky and blue sea, + 15C, the sunshine, the refreshing southeast wind of 7 m/s!
The abnormally warm year.

The trail runs along the coast of the Barents Sea through a picturesque landscape into the polar tundra.

‘The Arctic Challenge. The Earth’s End. Teriberka’ trail running was first held in August 2018 on the Kola Peninsula, in the ancient Pomor village of Teriberka, the Murmansk Region, and immediately attracted the attention of bloggers and athletes from all over the country with its pristine nature.

The trail distance runs along the sandy beach of the Barents Sea through mountain trails, rocky surfaces and a picturesque landscape to the polar tundra.

Goals and objectives

  • promotion of trail races, amateur running movement as one of the healthiest and affordable mass activities in the Murmansk region;
  • promotion of a healthy lifestyle, physical training, attracting the population to sports and environmental activities;
  • determining the strongest athletes;
  • the promotion of the territory brand and touristic acquaintance with Teriberka;
  • drawing attention to the possibilities of outdoor activities and tourism of the Kola Peninsula and the Murmansk region
